Common Base Magnet Sizes Dia 22mm 25mm 32mm

Base magnets are magnetic components widely used across various industrial and everyday applications. Common base magnet specifications include diameters of 22mm, 25mm, and 32mm. Below is an overview of base magnet shapes, structural types, and specific applications.

Base magnets are primarily circular in shape, though countersunk rings and rectangular designs are also employed. They are typically made of neodymium, a rare-earth material known for its superior magnetic properties. These magnets are rarely used alone; instead, they are integrated with stainless steel casings and TPE plastic components—resulting in the pot magnets and rubber-coated magnets we previously discussed.

First, let's discuss countersunk ring-base magnets. These magnets typically consist of a stainless steel metal housing paired with a countersunk ring-shaped neodymium magnet. The housing protects the magnet from breakage, and some designs incorporate threads or studs for easy attachment of screws, hooks, and other fasteners. This type is commonly used for underwater salvage operations.

Secondly, circular base magnets are also quite common, often referred to as rubber-coated magnets. They typically consist of a circular neodymium iron boron magnet, an iron plate, and rubber (TPE rubber). The rubber provides a sealed coating, with multiple circular magnets distributed inside. This design effectively prevents direct friction between the magnet surface and other objects, avoiding scratches on surfaces or damage to the magnets themselves.

Its applications are extremely versatile, capable of adhering to any iron-containing surface. Examples include securing cameras and spotlights to vehicle bodies, attaching metal storage boxes to car trunks, holding scrap metal in workshops, fixing decorative metal strips during home renovations without drilling holes, and countless other uses.

The above provides a brief introduction to base magnets. Different applications require varying shapes and sizes of magnets. If you are interested in this type of magnet, please feel free to contact us for more information.
