In the manufacturing process of servo motors, the way the magnets are pasted has an important impact on the stability of the motor's performance and service life. At present, the common way of pasting in the industry can be roughly divided into two categories, respectively, directly with glue, and the use of steel sleeve for mechanical fixing.
Glue Paste Method
This is the most common way, simple operation and low cost. The magnet is directly pasted onto the rotor core and fixed with special magnet glue, which is suitable for scenarios where the working load of the magnet is not large. However, this method has a certain risk of falling off under the working environment of high speed, high temperature or high vibration.
Note: Glue selection needs to consider high temperature performance (e.g. resistance >150°C), anti-vibration, anti-aging properties.

Steel sleeve press fitting method
The steel sleeve is equivalent to a mechanical protection structure, in the magnet outside and then add a ring of steel sleeve, not only can improve the mechanical strength, but also can avoid the magnet in the high-speed rotation due to centrifugal force loosening fall off. This method is often used in servo motors with high requirements.
In practical applications, many customers adopt the process of magnetizing magnetic steel first (completed by the magnet manufacturer), then manually gluing and pasting, and then installing steel sleeves to enhance structural strength.
