Rating protection card frame magnets are embedded in the card frame, usually 8 pcs or more, and serve for magnetic closure, enhancing the firmness and security of the card case closure, instead of screws or snaps.


In terms of material, it is mainly rare earth neodymium iron boron, with shapes mainly in circular and bar block shapes. N35-N42 is sufficient for daily magnetic structure use, and most of the coatings are galvanized to reduce costs. The size is not large, and the diameter of circular magnets is generally 3-5mm, with a thickness of 1-1.5mm. The length of strip shaped magnets is about 10mm, the width is 2-3mm, and the thickness is about 1mm.


Installation and design suggestions

The magnet embedding method is generally press-in installation, need to pay attention to the direction of the symmetrical 2 magnet poles, opposites attract, to prevent excessive magnetism leading to difficulties in opening and closing. The distance between the magnets after the shell is closed is less than 2mm as far as possible to ensure that the suction is effective.
