What Are Magnetic Sheets? Main Types?

Regarding magnetic sheets? What comes to your mind first? Today in this article, we will introduce to you what is a magnetic sheets? What are the characteristics and main types?

Magnetic sheet, as the name suggests, is a thin sheet of magnetic material. It has magnetism and can generate adsorption force on ferromagnetic substances such as iron and steel. Unlike common block, ring, or cylindrical magnets, magnetic plates are characterized by their thinness and lightness, possessing a certain degree of flexibility or hardness, and can be widely used in electronic products, advertising displays, industrial accessories, and other fields.

1. Rubber Magnetic Sheets

Manufactured by mixing ferrite or neodymium magnetic powder with rubber, plastic, or similar materials through calendering, these sheets offer excellent flexibility and bendability. They are safe, non-brittle, and cost-effective, commonly found in refrigerator magnets, vehicle decals, door curtains, and whiteboard magnetic strips.

2. NdFeB Magnetic Sheets

These sheet-shaped magnets are primarily made from sintered neodymium iron boron. They typically come in ring, rectangular, or circular shapes and are widely used in packaging, leather goods, handbags, electronic products, and magnetic structural components.

3. Ferrite magnetic sheet

Processed into thin sheets by pressing and sintering ceramic ferrite, it has the characteristics of hardness, brittleness, and strong corrosion resistance. The disadvantage is its low magnetic energy product, which can be used for microscopes, toys, low-end stationery, and sensors.
